Laboratory Coordinator I (Part‑time Staff)
Job LocationMain Campus – College Station, TX.
Job DescriptionThe Laboratory Coordinator is a part‑time position responsible for maintaining Ocean Engineering Lab spaces, ensuring all equipment is safe for use, maintaining records of all lab and equipment actions, and preparing labs for ABET certification.
Responsibilities- Maintain OCEAN lab spaces and the safety of all equipment.
- Maintain paperwork related to all lab and lab equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Apply standards and participate in the ABET certification process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of related experience.
- Laboratory maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply standards and participate in the ABET certification process.
