Position
Full‑Time Teller / New Accounts Representative at Guaranty Bank & Trust.
Responsibilities Teller Duties- Handle cash transactions and negotiable‑instrument transactions, including verification of cash, endorsements, identification, and detection of counterfeit currency or fraudulent checks.
- Balance ATMs, cash drawers, and daily totals; secure cash and coin when not in use.
- Consolidate and balance daily transactions.
- Process deposits, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
- Build loyalty and deepen customer relationships by uncovering financial needs and recommending appropriate products.
- Open new consumer and business accounts.
- Own the customer experience, including onboarding and resolving service issues.
- Conduct outbound sales activities such as meeting local businesses and attending community events.
- Connect customers to specialists in loan, mortgage, treasury, or investment services.
- Follow up with new customers by phone to ensure satisfaction and address additional needs.
- Engage customers in the lobby and over the phone to assist and educate them on self‑service technologies.
- Comply with privacy policies and information‑protection procedures.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and company policies.
- Complete all required regulatory compliance training.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.

- High school diploma or higher (required).
- Minimum 1 year of teller or new accounts experience (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and cash‑handling experience (required).
- Monday–Friday: scheduled either 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: location closed.

Employees may need to sit, stand, walk, lift, and reach. Routine use of office equipment, computers, telephone, copier, and calculator is required. Extended hours or off‑site travel may be necessary. The job may involve climbing or descending stairs in emergencies. Visual acuity is needed for reading, data analysis, and monitoring small details.
Compensation & BenefitsStarting salary depends on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a health‑savings account, Employee Assistance Program, retirement plans (401(k) and profit‑sharing), disability coverage, education and training benefits, banking product discounts, paid time off, and paid holidays. PTO accruals start at 0.0745 hours per hour worked for part‑time employees, up to 240 hours per year for certain full‑time employees.
Full‑time employees receive six paid holidays; part‑time employees receive pro‑rated holidays. Certain state‑recognized holidays may apply to Utah and Nevada employees.
