Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or legal studies.
  • Three to five years of experience in loan administration with an emphasis on commercial lending, specifically syndicated and participated lending, or equivalent experience deemed acceptable by Capital Farm Credit.
Job Summary

Responsible for loan administration, loan accounting, content management, and credit support for a moderately complex commercial loan portfolio, including syndicated and/or participated loans. Provides excellent customer service, supports business development, and facilitates communication with external parties and internal departments.

Essential Functions
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal/external inquiries and facilitating communication between departments and external parties.
  • Review and interpret credit underwriting documentation, term sheets, financing proposals, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness; communicate additional needs to the deal team.
  • Enter loan data into loan origination systems and establish secure documentation sites for syndicated/participated loans.
  • Conduct searches within various systems (entity, OFAC, UCC, etc.) to ensure compliance and ensure correct documentation.
  • Coordinate legal document preparation and revision with attorneys, internal counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with title companies and internal departments to finalize title commitments, assemble closing packets, and ensure accurate execution of documents.
  • Onboard new loans into the loan accounting system, disburse proceeds, and monitor borrower conditions and covenants.
  • Ensure lien perfection, maintain electronic loan files, and communicate with custodians and external legal counsel.
  • Process loan payments, disbursements, and related tasks for service and vendor reimbursement.
  • Monitor post‑closing conditions, follow up on delinquent items, report violations, and assist with remedies.
  • Identify cross‑selling opportunities for other association products and refer to appropriate lending staff.
  • Initiate and process credit servicing actions, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt revisions in the accounting systems.
  • Review reports for policy compliance, identify exceptions, and take appropriate actions or escalation.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, CFC procedures, policies, processes, internal controls, and regulations; research and apply where needed.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of multiple systems and programs, demonstrating proficiency in CFC lending programs and systems.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and office equipment for file management and information retrieval.
  • Knowledge of documentation requirements for title insurance, deeds of trust, UCC financing statements, crop insurance, and flood insurance.
  • Understanding of complex commercial lending structures and corresponding legal documentation, including revolving lines of credit, construction lending, and letters of credit.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organization and time management practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Critical thinking skills.
