Job/Department Description: Made up of several different positions like Room Attendant, House Attendant, and Lobby Attendant, our Housekeeping Department is collectively responsible for ensuring that standards of cleanliness in assigned guest rooms and public areas are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service. We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Room Attendants to work 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM shifts.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starts at $14.00 per hour, increases to $15.00 per hour after first 6 months. Starting pay may increase to $15 based on experience with a raise to $16 after first 6 months. Once qualified, trainers make $1 more per hour when training.
• Paid biweekly (every two weeks)

Schedule:

• Part-time: 8-29 hours per week depending on level of business forecast
• Full-time: 30-40 hours per week depending on level of business forecast
• Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecast.
• Friday, Saturday & Sunday availability is required.

Shift: Approximately 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (projected 6–8-hour shifts depending on business needs); if wanting a full-time position - must be able to work weekends

Essential Functions Summary Per Position:

• Daily changing of linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards.
• Thorough cleanliness & sanitation of guest rooms, furnishing, hallways, and restrooms.
• Keep the work cart, storage closets, & other works areas orderly and properly stocked at all times.
• Proper utilization and care of equipment, devices, supplies & guest amenities.
• Strict follow through on lost and found procedures
  - No articles should ever be removed from occupied rooms. Absolute respect for guests' property should always be exercised.
