JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Restaurant / Outlet General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, guest experience, and operational excellence of the hotel's three food and beverage outlets, including:

  • Brazos Proper Texas Kitchen
  • The Junction Marketplace
  • Block T Bar & Grill

This position oversees a management team of three Outlet Managers and two Supervisors while leading a staff of more than 40 front-of-house team members. The Restaurant / Outlet General Manager is accountable for delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, controlling labor and operating expenses, developing future leaders, and creating memorable experiences that strengthen the hotel's food and beverage reputation.

With approximately $2.3 million in annual revenue, this role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with daily operational execution.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Salaried position, paid biweekly

SCHEDULE:

The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high occupancy times due to special events. We strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime, but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it.

  • Full-time: 40+ hours per week depending on level of business forecasted
  • Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.

Required

  • 5+ years of progressive restaurant or hospitality management experience.
  • Multi-unit food and beverage management experience preferred.
