Overview

Position Title:

HR Generalist

Location:

Bryan, TX

Assignment Type:
Direct Hire

Compensation: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 /year DOE

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday Onsite

Benefits:

Responsibilities
  • Conduct annual open enrollment
  • Verify accuracy of vacation and sick leave accruals and approve transactions as needed
  • Administer 401K enrollments, employee loans, employee distributions, compliance testing, Form 5500 filing, etc
  • Administer COBRA notifications
  • Serve as the first point of contact for notification of a work-related injury or illness
  • Administer employee Family Medical Leave Requests
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee or manager questions as it relates to benefit programs
  • Update employee manuals and forms, as needed
  • Prepare customized benefit related reporting and monthly insurance billings
  • Reviews and initiates a high volume of benefit related check requests
  • Assist with workers’ compensation and unemployment claims as needed
  • Administer annual merit review process, and assist the Senior Corporate Payroll Specialist with administration and pay rate changes for all affiliated entities
  • Assists with recruiting by posting open positions, screening employment applications, ordering background checks and drug screens, and processing new hires
  • Assist HR Director with special projects
  • Provide back-up and/or support for select responsibilities of the Corporate Payroll Administrator
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree desired with combined total of 3+ years’ experience in health and welfare benefits administration or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
  • Highly Service-oriented with the ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constant change due to servicing multiple entities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
