Job Overview
The Help Desk Support role is responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and system-related issues. This is a part‑time, contract position.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day technical support for users, resolving system, software, hardware, and access‑related issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate complex problems as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Support user account administration, system setup, and equipment management.
- Maintain support documentation, training materials, and process guides.
- Monitor service requests, prioritize issues, and deliver excellent customer support.
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and cross‑functional projects.
- Help manage technology assets, software licensing, and related administrative tasks.
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, systems support, or operations support role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software, hardware, and user access issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management tools.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
