CRNA position working one 16hr overnight shift and two 12hr day shifts per week available at College Station Medical Center. St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital strives to create a truly healing environment. With physicians in many disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics, patients receive advanced care from professionals they can count on. St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit.
Awards Accredited Chest Pain Center Certified Primary Stroke Center Joint Commission-accredited joint replacement program. Cases include hearts, craniotomies, regional, obstetric. Team highlights this care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and assuring delivery of excellent care. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.
Current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, and certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists are required.
