We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in College Station, Texas

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound management, splinting, and other procedures as appropriate
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with Next Care clinical standards, protocols, and core values

• Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Nurse Practitioner:
  Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification through ANCC or AANP
• Physician Assistant:
  Current NCCPA certification
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients of all ages
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (certification fees covered)

• Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Experience with initial X‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
