We are seeking a Full‑Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in College Station, Texas

- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound management, splinting, and other procedures as appropriate
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with Next Care clinical standards, protocols, and core values
- Active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Nurse Practitioner:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification through ANCC or AANP - Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients of all ages
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (certification fees covered)
- Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
- Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial X‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read

Clinic hours are Mon - Fri 8a - 8p and Sat‑Sun 9a-4p, 12‑hour shifts are required, which includes evenings, rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
