The graduate assistant will provide research support to the Rural Student Success Initiative, which includes data collection and analysis, program evaluation research, and data synthesis. Candidates should be familiar with drafting research articles for publication and should have a research focus in postsecondary access, preferably with an interest in rural students. A sincere interest in expanding access for underserved youth from rural regions is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Research and collect data.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Assist with data management and perform basic statistical analyses.
- Develop assessment and evaluation tools.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to organize and multitask functions to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Understanding of IRB protocols and application procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills.
- Problem analysis and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to use statistical software programs.
