Postdoctoral Research Associate

Texas A&M Agri Life is comprised of the following Texas A&M University System members:
Texas A&M Agri Life Extension Service, Texas A&M Agri Life Research, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Forest Service, Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. Position Information:

  • Design and execute experiments related to soil/plant microbiomes.
  • Analyze experimental data, write reports, make presentations to group meetings and conferences, prepare manuscripts for publication, contribute to proposal development
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory
  • Develop collaboration on projects and attend professional development trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the PI.

Required

Education:

Ph.D. degree in relevant disciplines including but not limited to:
Environmental Microbiology, Ecology, Molecular / Systems Biology, Genetics / Genomics, Soil Science, Plant Biology, Biochemistry, Biogeochemistry, Ecotoxicology, Biotechnology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Bioinformatics.
