ResponsibilitiesContribute to research projects focused on the mechanisms that establish the paternal epigenome and how it subsequently regulates embryo development. Lead research using mammalian animal model systems. Use multi‑omic approaches to investigate paternal and embryonic epigenomes. Provide ample opportunities to collaborate with investigators and partners from various institutions.
- Assist with writing grant proposals, manuscripts, and presentation of research results at academic symposiums/lab meetings.
- Train junior lab members.
Education and Experience
- Ph.D. in reproductive biology, cell and developmental biology, genetics, or a similar field.
- Experience in molecular biology.
- Experience with animal research.
- Experience conducting statistical analyses.
Education and Experience
- Experience with embryo production and culture.
- Genomic sequencing experience (RNA‑seq, ATAC‑seq, ChIP‑seq).
- Understanding of genomic sequencing analysis.
- Demonstrated publication record.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate results, interpretations, and recommendations, and to answer complex questions internally and externally.
- Willingness to participate in meetings with stakeholders/industry representatives.
