The Cafe Associate role supports cafe operations, prepares food, and provides fast and friendly service to members. We value team players who are committed to serving members and creating a warm environment.

• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Use digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and maintaining product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; handle payments; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Act as a brand advocate; inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identify roadblocks and assist in training others.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply Open Door Policy in daily work.
• Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.
