Fire Alarm Installation Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative will sell Fire Alarm products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The position is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The representative may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.

• Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicate with customers and leads to understand their Fire Alarm product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrate the functions and utility of Fire Alarm products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements of interest.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• 5+ years of fire alarm experience required.
• 5+ years of Outside Sales experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory.

• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
