District Sales Manager

Performance Food service, a leader in food and food-related product distribution, is seeking a driven District Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within assigned districts. This role is pivotal in sustaining our commitment to service excellence and market expansion. The District Sales Manager will lead a team dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our customers-from local family-owned eateries to large national chains-ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded while upholding the highest levels of customer service and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
• Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
• Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compatibility of company strategies.
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.
• Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
