** provides research administration services to The Texas A&M University System. We further the research goals of the university by delivering efficient and superior service to members of the Texas A&M System research community. Has strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two years’ experience in a specialized financial field such as accounts payable, payroll, student accounts.
* Critical thinking and analytical capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, proofreading and time management skills.
* Ability to apply problem-solving skills to problems, prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
* Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
* Experience in sponsored research projects management and/or accounting.
* Experience with in the A&M System or other university setting.
* Experience interpreting and monitoring compliance with federal regulations, including OMB Circulars and Code of Federal Regulations, as they pertain to sponsored research.
* Progressively responsible budgeting and/or project administration experience.
* Strong mathematical and comprehension skills.
* Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and FAMIS, and/or Maestro. recreation facilities, the Bush Library and Museum, and much more await you.
