Currently Hiring Full and Part‑Time Security Officers – College Station Site

Location requirement:
You must live in College Station to work at this site.

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 hourly (full and part‑time shifts available).

Weekend and holiday availability required.

Ideal candidate experience:
Previous experience in security or customer service, one year of security experience, reliable transportation, ability to work in all weather conditions, professional character and demeanor, team player, able to walk and stand for long periods, able to commit to chosen schedule.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks.

Available Security Officer Positions
  • Rover:
    Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
  • Gatehouse:
    Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property.
  • Front Desk:
    Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, distribute packages.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8-hour periods
  • Must be able to do extensive walking and stair climbing
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Valid state licensing, if applicable
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Previous security experience is a plus
