Assistant Carpenter

The Assistant Carpenter will aide skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision.

Tasks may include:

• Loading and unloading building materials
• Assist Carpenter in laying out work
• Assist Carpenter with lifting, positioning, securing, and cutting of materials during installation
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Ensure work area remains stocked with materials needed
• Assist other craft workers as needed

Skills/Requirements:

• Framing and Structural Carpentry and Finished Carpentry experience
• Hand tool proficiency such as Saws, Drills, and Nail Guns
• Material Knowledge
• Strong communication both verbal and digital
• Problem solving
• Customer service

Your compensation will vary by experience level. This can be discussed during the first interview.
