Position OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Technician who is adept at hands‑on maintenance and repair tasks, self‑disciplined and self‑motivated/driven to provide top‑notch service. Technician must have own transportation and preferred some tools. Company will reimburse for mileage while on the job at the IRS rate.
Key Responsibilities- Hands‑On Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and repairs, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
- Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose and address maintenance issues as they arise, using technical expertise and critical thinking skills.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with office management and staff regarding maintenance schedules, disruptions, and improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably with a Property Management company or similar professional environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance is a plus.
