SalaryProposed Minimum Salary $24.39 hourly. Pay Range: $18.59 to $26.56 per hour.

Responsibilities- Assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric and water metering systems.
- Assist in installation of electric metering devices and meters that monitor chilled and heating hot water, domestic water, steam, and irrigation metering.
- Assist with installation and set up of temperature sensors.
- Drive a university vehicle to different university locations as required.
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of relevant regulatory issues and technological changes in the metering of utilities.
- Assist with documentation of metering locations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in installation, maintenance, or repair of instrument‑rated digital electric or water meters, or programming of electric or water meters, or other related experience.
- Experience installing electrical meters and meter related PLCs.
- Experience working with 24V, 120/240V wiring.
- Capability to interpret electrical and mechanical construction drawings and specifications.
- Journeyman Electrician License.
Valid Texas Class C driver license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of digital electrical or water metering.
- Ability to multi‑task and work cooperatively with others.
