Overview
Audio Visual Technician – Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center, College Station, TX. Supported by Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company overseeing 200+ hotels worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and maintain audio/visual equipment (sound systems, projectors, cameras, lighting, computers, etc.) for meetings, conferences, and special events.
- Collaborate directly with event planners, hotel staff, and clients to confirm AV requirements and deliver excellent service.
- Run cables, secure cords, keep safe pathways, and maintain equipment inventory.
- Operate AV systems (projectors, microphones, mixers, speakers, cameras, lighting controls, computers), troubleshoot issues, and assist with presentations.
- Monitor live events, make real‑time adjustments, and ensure seamless operation.
- Provide client‑facing support, communicate technical information in an accessible manner, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Clean, store, repair, and report equipment; track usage and inventory for future events.
- Maintain organized work spaces, logs, and documentation as required.
- Adhere to hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and safely lift equipment up to 75 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy (email, file management, PowerPoint).
- Flexible schedule availability – including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special event days.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred:
Experience with video‑conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex) and prior hospitality or guest‑facing roles.

Schedule and Travel24/7 hospitality environment. Must be available for Texas A&M football games, Ring Days, graduations, and other high‑occupancy events. Overtime may be required. Part‑time opportunities available (8–29 hrs/week).
