Commercial Roofing Technician

Job Title: Level 1 Commercial Roofing Technician

Location: College Station, TX and surrounding region

Tiello is currently partnered with a growing commercial roofing contractor in their search for a motivated Level I Commercial Roofing Technician to support commercial roofing inspections, maintenance, and repair projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to build their expertise in commercial roofing while working independently and directly with customers.

• Inspect commercial roofing systems and identify deficiencies or potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and perform roof repairs and maintenance on customer properties.
• Perform routine and preventative roof maintenance.
• Safely access and navigate commercial roofs using ladders and other required equipment.
• Work independently with limited supervision while following safety and quality standards.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the technical aspects of roofing projects.
• Maintain appropriate materials and supplies within project requirements and budgets.
• Complete accurate and timely project documentation.
• Help ensure project deadlines and cost targets are met.
• Identify, assess, and help mitigate project risks and problems.
• Support the Maintenance Lead with daily roofing and maintenance activities.

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and access commercial roofs.
• Ability to perform basic roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Results-driven, ambitious, and self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and general construction.
• Previous experience in construction, roofing, building maintenance, or a related industry.
• Ability to diagnose roofing issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
