Purpose:
The Intern position offers students or recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical, hands‑on experience in a professional setting. Working under the guidance of a supervisor, the intern will contribute to meaningful projects, develop key skills relevant to their field, and gain insight into operations.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or certification program in a relevant field. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
Deadline: All Interns must complete and submit online Field Experience for 26-27 each semester.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of assigned projects.
- Perform research, data analysis, and reporting to support team goals.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other deliverables.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, or professional development opportunities offered during the internship.
- Contribute ideas and insights during team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Work closely with team members to ensure alignment on project objectives and tasks.
- Actively seek feedback to refine skills and improve performance.
Working Conditions: Regularly sit, talk or hear; frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, or feel; frequent repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; vision abilities include close vision and color vision; regularly work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress;
the noise level is usually moderate. This description provides a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with the Intern position. Duties may vary depending on the specific needs of the department or organization.
