Material Handler, Warehouse Associate
Summary
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring proper documentation for inventory control. This role supports the Warehouse Assistants and the Warehouse Manager by performing inventory audits, fulfilling part orders, and assisting in warehouse organization.
Direct Report: Warehouse Manager
Works regularly with Warehouse Assistants and the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities- Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records of materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Fulfill parts orders for sales and service requests.
- Prepare inventory into kits for Manufacturing.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory to maintain organization and accessibility.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory storage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- State motor vehicle operators permit for operation of forklift highly preferred.
- Must be able to traverse the warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule- 8-hour shift
