As a Merchandise Preparation Associate, you'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will unload trucks, lift, move, and unpack furniture and mattresses with a dedicated team.

- Unloading trucks, moving, lifting, and unpacking furniture and mattresses.
- Assembling and preparing furniture for delivery or pick-up.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality standards.
- Locating merchandise in designated shipping areas for delivery.
- Repackaging all returned or repaired merchandise for organization.
- Providing excellent service during warehouse customer pickups, including unpacking, inspecting, and loading.
- Safely maneuvering furniture using a two-wheel dolly independently.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
- Assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed.
- Completing other assigned duties.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Capacity to safely lift up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance.
- Ability to maintain a high level of physical activity throughout your shift.
- Experience using a two-wheeler.
- Capability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors across varying climates.
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to hear and understand speech for effective interaction.
- Must have the ability to speak clearly to be understood regularly.
- Will need to remain standing and move about on foot.
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach above shoulder height.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and transport heavier loads.
- Working primarily in a warehouse environment may expose you to paint, household chemicals, dust, and moderate noise levels.
