Overview
Candidate must have experience in NOC and service assurance area, not in planning. Recent experience working on the Ciena 6500 or Adva R7/R9 platforms is required.
This role is a Planner for Transport Network Planning & Optimization. Responsibilities include planning of SONET, DWDM, MetroE, IP, TDM, and OSP/ISP for project development of full site exits. The ideal candidate is a highly proficient telecom professional with expertise in Transport Planning & Optimization and extensive knowledge across these domains.
LocationsRichardson and Raleigh — Remote option available.
ResponsibilitiesPlan SONET, DWDM, MetroE, IP, TDM, and OSP/ISP for project development of full site exits; collaborate with existing LH Strategic Planners; support transport network planning and optimization tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills- Experience in NOC and service assurance.
- Recent work with Ciena 6500 or Adva R7/R9 platforms.
- Strong knowledge of transport planning and optimization.
- Familiarity with SONET, DWDM, MetroE, IP, TDM, OSP/ISP technologies.
2 – 6 years.
