The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and maintains on-site support staff - including an NP, nursing staff, and nurse supervisors - to ensure clinicians do not work alone at any time. Credentialing for this position is estimated at approximately one week.

About the Facility Location This assignment is located in Alaska, offering access to regional outdoor recreation and natural attractions. The area provides year-round recreational opportunities, including wildlife viewing, glacier access, hiking, skiing, and wildlife exploration throughout the region.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting in Alaska, working four 10-hour day shifts per week. The expected caseload is 8-12 patients per day, with additional responsibilities including the review of outside medical records and laboratory results. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Required credentials include an active Alaska license, DEA registration, a clear background check, and prescriptive authority;

board certification is negotiable.
