Description:
This position is for a Long Term Care LVN/LPN.Previous travel experience in a long-term care setting is required.
Candidates must possess a valid AK license prior to starting.
The start date is flexible, and shifts may vary based on facility needs.
Travelers have the choice of a 13 or 26-week assignment.
Patient care ratios are set at 1:20.All candidates must complete the Alaska Food Worker Certification during the on-site orientation.
This certification incurs a one-time fee of $10.Caregivers will not rotate between day and night shifts but will be assigned a consistent schedule.
Applicants are expected to be flexible in their availability, especially around major winter holidays.
RTO restrictions apply; no more than two weeks of time-off will be accepted for a 26-week contract.
Candidates should have strong LTC skill sets, including but not limited to admissions, ambulation, bathing, communication of patient status changes, and medication administration.
All applicants will need to submit two references covering the past year of experience.
Candidates may be required to float to nearby facilities as part of the role.
