Mining Instrumentation Technicians - 21/21 - Fly-In & Fly-Out + Camp + Accommodations Provided - Red Dog Mine, AK

Teck Resources Limited is seeking Industrial Instrumentation Technicians for their Red Dog Mine in Alaska, one of the world’s largest zinc mines. This role involves maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems in a mining environment. Candidates will work a rotational fly-in/fly-out schedule and enjoy modern camp accommodations. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a collaborative team.

• Completion of an approved Instrumentation or Electrical apprenticeship program, or valid electrical license/certification
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in Electrical/Instrumentation and controls design in mining, oil/gas, power, or other industrial environment
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Ability to troubleshoot motor control circuits, read electrical schematics, install and calibrate flow, pressure, and level meters
• Experience with control systems, DCS, and PLCs is an asset
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Drug and alcohol test required as part of hiring process

• Completion of a combined electrical and instrumentation apprenticeship
• Experience in arctic environments
• Strong interpersonal skills
