Position: Production Worker – 3rd Shift

Location: 10260 McKee Road, Collegedale, TN 37315

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:30p.m. – 6:30a.m. (Other hours and days as needed)

Pay: $19.22/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Collegedale, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Worker, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the packaging and inspection of finished food products, including:

Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping.
Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons.
Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes.
Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns.

Monitor production processes to meet quality and productivity targets.

Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Follow production schedules and meet production quotas.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

Ability to meet strict attendance guidelines.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others.
Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment.
Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field.
