Job Title
McKee Foods is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to join our Production Lift Truck team.
Pay$21.44 – 22.79 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours.
Schedule3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (other days and hours as needed))

Job SummaryMcKee Foods is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to join our Production Lift Truck team. Lift Truck Operators are responsible for the operation of lift trucks in the transfer of palletized materials, ingredients, and/or finished goods. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Moving and ordering inventory
- Stocking and maintaining materials for the plant
- Removing supplies and trash at the end of product runs
- Assisting employees with moving heavy objects and loads
- Receiving and loading/unloading interplant trailers
- Storing and organizing billycans, trays, inventory and other supplies
- Maintaining and cleaning the lift truck
- Communicating with other shifts regarding job/production needs
- Following all safety rules and exercising personal safety on the job and demonstrating a commitment to the safety of others and our products
- Other duties as required
- Must have or be able to obtain a McKee Foods LTO license
- Excellent organizational skills; good housekeeping skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative; able to work with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in team environment; customer oriented
- Adaptable to change and do multiple tasks; flexible
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively and communicate well with others
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs.
- Analytical skills
- Ability to determine cause and effect; trouble shooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good work, safety, and attendance records; dependable
- Steel-toed slip resistant safety shoes required
- Demonstrated desire to work hard
- Willingness to try new ideas
- Knowledge of and adherence to company food safety, product purity, company policy and departmental procedures
- Knowledge of McKee Foods Corporation and OSHA safety regulations
- Previous LTO experience
- Previous ware house, shipping, or receiving experience
- General mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of OPM software systems or PC experience
