CDL A Team Truck Driver - and Back

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a CDL A Team Truck Driver to join our team at our Mebane, North Carolina location.

• 2 to 4 days of home time each week
• 15 years average driver tenure
• Newer equipment well-maintained by dedicated on-site fleet maintenance
• Average pay $85,000 per year* (includes extra trips)
• Stable weekly pay starting at $1,593 after initial training (includes delivery premium)
• Eligible for increase to $1,655 after 6 months based on performance
• 60+ years of profit sharing
• Partial pay for road expenses (per diem)
• Extra trips available to increase pay

• Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Eastern & Northeastern states
• Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week
• Deliver and unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently, handling loads up to 50 pounds
• Always off sundown Friday to sundown Saturday

• Current Class A CDL
• Minimum 18 months experience driving a tractor‑trailer
• Willingness to drive team routes
• Ability to unload trailer containing cases of snack cake products (regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to obtain tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment
