Position Summary
The Department of Education at the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John’s University (SJU) invites applications for a full‑time (0.92 FTE), benefit‑eligible position of Director of Clinical Experiences. The primary responsibilities of this position include leadership in the development, support and assessment of teacher candidates in their clinical experiences throughout the program. This position will be responsible for making elementary, middle and secondary classroom placements and for collaborating with faculty, university supervisors, and area schools.
The Director will also facilitate student teaching seminars and the licensure process for teacher candidates.

The posted wage represents CSB and SJU's good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will be dependent upon several factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills, and may fall outside of the range indicated.
Department HighlightsThe Education Department has 7 full‑time faculty, 4 part‑time faculty and 2 full‑time staff. The mission of the CSB/SJU Education Department is to provide exemplary teacher preparation within the framework provided by the Minnesota Standards of Effective Practice for Teachers. We seek to prepare teachers who use their content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and understanding of students’ diverse needs when making informed, ethical classroom decisions that foster their students' learning.
