Play & Learn, the largest non-profit childcare and early education organization in Montgomery County, is seeking dedicated Preschool, and Infant Teachers to join our dynamic team at our Abington location.

About Us:

At Play & Learn, we are dedicated to providing top-quality care and education to children from six weeks to school-age. As the childcare provider for Jefferson Abington Hospital employees and students, we take great pride in our strong community connections and our role in nurturing young minds.

As a Pre-K Teacher at Play & Learn, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds during their critical early years. We are committed to providing a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment where children can develop essential skills and ignite their curiosity.

• Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on role and experience)

• Provide high-quality care to meet the individual needs of each child
• Implement the Play & Learn Curriculum
• Collaborate with team members to support children and families
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Foster a nurturing, multicultural learning atmosphere
• Encourage creativity through art, music, and play
• Plan and conduct activities that promote self-esteem and social skills
• Participate in staff and training meetings

Pre-K Teacher Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• PA State Instructional I Certificate or Private Academic Nursery Kindergarten Certificate or willing to obtain
• Minimum of two years of childcare experience in a formal setting
• Passionate about fostering positive relationships with children and families
