Role SummaryAs part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Manager of Paid Social will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive paid social strategy across a subset of brands within the Pfizer portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker, as well as hands‑on experience. You will be part of our newly created In‑House team, collaborating with both internal cross‑functional teams and external partners to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing successful paid social campaigns, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
- Support paid social leads in developing strategy with cross‑functional teams to align paid social efforts with overall marketing objectives.
- Develop and implement paid social campaigns across all social platforms to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded.
- Communicate with creative agencies and manage the delivery of all paid social content.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to highlight insights and recommend campaign optimizations.
- Assist in reporting, including preparing campaign reports, presentations, and insights to showcase performance and recommendations.
- Assist in the implementation of tagging with social partners, audience creation, and management.
- Develop testing plans, formulate hypotheses, and design experiments to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations and budget management of paid social campaigns across multiple social media platforms with hands‑on expertise.
- Assist in the quality assurance process, ensuring accuracy of all social media campaigns in market for your brands.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the paid search landscape.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and new platform opportunities.
- BA/BS with 4+ years of agency or client‑side hands‑on keyboard social expertise (healthcare experience preferred but not required); OR a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR a high‑school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices related to each.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team‑based environment.
- Strong communications skills and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiences.
- Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in paid social tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and demonstrate a positive ROI.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $ to $. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share‑based long‑term incentive program.
