The Elementary Physical Education Teacher provides engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education instruction that builds fundamental movement skills, fitness, teamwork, and Christ-centered character. This role creates a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where students grow physically, socially, and spiritually. The teacher partners with faculty and the Athletic Department to support student development, promote lifelong healthy habits, and advance Covenant Christian Academy’s mission and values.

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education instruction aligned with CCA’s curriculum and mission.
• Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
• Assess student progress and communicate growth in accordance with school expectations.
• Model Christ-centered character and uphold behavioral expectations daily.
• Supervise students during assigned duties, including morning and lunch supervision as needed.

• Mature, growing personal faith in Jesus Christ aligned with CCA’s Statement of Faith.
• Commitment to Christian education and Christ-centered student development.
• Teaching certification in Physical Education preferred (or willingness to pursue).
• Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and relational skills.
• Organized, dependable, and professional.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
