Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in the Credit Department. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for accurately processing and applying daily cash receipts, ensuring our financial records are precise and up to date. You will be a key player in our daily operations, working closely with the team to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
WhatYou'll Do
- Process daily payments:
Accurately apply a high volume of checks and electronic payments to the correct customer accounts. - Reconcile accounts:
Research and resolve any discrepancies or unapplied cash issues. - Collaborate with the team:
Work with colleagues to streamline processes and resolve payment-related questions. - Maintain data integrity:
Ensure all transaction records are meticulously organized and accurate. - Take on other tasks as needed to support the Credit team.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional 10-key proficiency and solid computer skills.
- Proven mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- One year of experience in a similar role (e.g., cash application, collections, or credit) is a plus.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- This is an on-site position requiring regular in-person attendance at our office located in Collierville, TN office
