United Recovery & Remarketing (UR2) is seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to join our growing corporate team in Collierville, Tennessee. As Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a multi-entity, privately held organization, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, develop staff, and partner with leadership to drive business success. Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage the monthly and annual close processes for multiple entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of entity-level & consolidated financial statements.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis and operational insights to leadership.
- Oversee accounting operations for multiple affiliated companies, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
- Ensure proper allocation of shared expenses and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Coordinate entity-specific reporting, tax support, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a key accounting lead in the transition from Quick Books to Net Suite.
- Partner with leadership, consultants, and cross-functional teams on ERP implementation activities, including data migration, process mapping, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Develop and improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and reporting structures within Net Suite.
- Assist in establishing standardized processes and best practices across all entities.
- Support ongoing Net Suite optimization, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives after implementation.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
- Establish performance expectations and support employee development.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented department culture.
- Allocate workload and ensure department deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate annual tax preparation support.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support banking, insurance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist leadership with special projects as needed.
Salary is negotiable based on previous experience and skills.
