Toddler Teacher​/Assistant

FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH & PRESCHOOL is hiring a Toddler Teacher/Assistant in Collierville, TN.

This position will be working in a Christian toddler classroom with eight 18-24 month old students with a partner. The position is Monday-Friday 9:00-3:00.

• Assist in the implementation of curricula that you have helped plan and encourage the participation of the children.
• Actively engage in creative play and arts & craft type activities with the children.
• Maintain communication with parents both in person and with the parents using the Procare App.
• Help ensure smooth daily transitions from home to school and back home.
• Follow Center policies and DHS procedures.
• Complete required DHS training yearly.
• Maintain a professional positive attitude and work well with your partner.

• Must have at least a High School diploma and be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to keep pace with small children and stand for up to 4 hours during the day.
• Must be of the Christian Faith.
• Must be patient and kind.
• Must clear FBI background check.
• Must pass health screening.

• 1-2 years experience in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of child development.
• High Energy.
• Paid CPR/1st Aid Training.
• Paid personal time off.
• School year schedule with school holidays off.

Minimum Education:

High School or Equivalent.
