Applications Sales Engineer

Wilo EMU USA LLC is seeking an Applications Sales Engineer to drive technical sales of pump and water management solutions for industrial and building services customers. In this role, you will analyze customer requirements, size and select pumps and systems, prepare technical proposals and quotations, and support the sales team throughout the bid-to-order process. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and global colleagues, provide product training and presentations, assist with specifications and bids, and ensure solutions meet performance, energy-efficiency, and sustainability goals while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales of pumps and water management solutions to industrial and building services customers
• Analyze customer specifications and operating conditions to size and select appropriate pumps and systems
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and bid packages
• Support sales team throughout bid-to-order cycle with technical guidance
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and global teams to ensure feasible, cost-effective solutions
• Provide product training, presentations, and technical support to customers and channel partners
• Assist with development of specifications and compliance with industry standards
• Support energy-efficiency and sustainability objectives in solution design
• Respond to RFQs and manage project documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive, solutions-focused service
