Job Profile
Summary:
Manage assigned international tax processes and implementation of tax policies pertaining to foreign operations. To plan, organize and direct the development and implementation of tax policies to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws and regulations.
Position Responsibility:The position is responsible for the intercompany transfer pricing journal entries, month-end closing processes and financial analysis, researching historical balances, maintaining effective internal control over transfer pricing financial reporting, and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis.
SpecificJob Responsibilities:
- Manage the intercompany transfer pricing process across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inter-company transactions.
- Supervise and develop staff and review their work.
- Responsible for accounting and close activities for assigned areas including journal entry preparation, reconciliation preparation, and fluctuation analysis.
- Maintain effective internal controls for transfer pricing operational and compliance activities.
- This role will interact closely with various departments, including Accounting, Tax, IT, Legal, and Treasury.
- Manage transfer pricing model and software implementation.
- Work directly with internal and external auditors, by maintaining and providing support to the audit team for walkthrough procedures and manage audit support requests as they pertain to the inter-company work-streams.
- Partner with the team to continuously improve system automation in an effort to help scale accounting operations.
- Lead special projects such as implementing new process improvements and updating process documentation.
- Direct and lead a team of international tax professionals.
- Assigned processes may include U.S. tax compliance of foreign operations, transfer pricing, local country income tax support/analysis, and local country controversy support.
- Implementation of tax strategies to optimize the Company’s global tax position.
- Prepare and maintain required documentation for discussion with management and external auditors.
- Ensure adherence to department policies regarding managing, updating and ensuring tax work is in compliance with required SOX control objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related discipline.
- Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
- Five (5) years of relevant tax/finance experience with significant exposure to international taxation.
- Significant process management experience in a large organization.
- Strong management, human relations and communications skills.
- Strong knowledge base of Oracle preferred
- Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in GL accounting including preparation of journal entries
- Experience assisting with quarterly/yearly audits preferred
- International tax or transfer pricing experience preferred
The preferred location for this hybrid position is Collierville, TN. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). Candidates residing within 50 miles of a Fed Ex campus will be required to work on-site at a Fed Ex location several times per week.

Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
In California, the compensation listed reflects the range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position upon hire. In New Jersey, any compensable Security and Walk time will be paid to non-exempt/hourly employees at the state minimum wage.
$9,719.96/month - $16,523.93/month
Additional Details:This position is not eligible for relocation.
