IT Business Analyst, IT Consultant
Job Summary
Under general supervision, supports the project lead with the organization's strategic plan(s).
The IT Contract Management (ITCM) team is responsible for the management of strategic, enterprise-wide hardware, software, and cloud vendors. As a member of the team you will manage the acquisition of products and services from assigned IT Vendors and be responsible for ongoing administration of the Vendor including: business planning support, invoicing, reporting, and be the SME for the Vendor’s contracts and licensing.
The ITCM team works closely with IT Technology Owners, IT Asset Management, TBM, Finance, Sourcing, and Legal.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of all purchasing agreements for assigned Vendors including primary responsibility for management of acquisition projects to meet contractual or organizational deadlines.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor vendors and agreements to ensure adherence to contractual terms and conditions and identify, report, and mitigate risks and compliance concerns.
- Prepare and maintain reporting on contract status and Vendor relationship.
- Identifies and validates demand for products and services from stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
- Assists in the development of business cases and financial and costing analysis.
- Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required.
- Identifies, researches, analyzes and makes recommendations to support the organization's growth objectives.
- Conducts periodic reviews of business plans against objectives.
- Coordinates communications with internal and external partners and ensures all deliverables are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.
Minimum ExperienceFive (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.
Strong negotiation, communications, and human relations skills.
Knowledge with financial analysis, purchasing processes, and vendor management.
- Experience with large IT Vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Service Now, and Dell.
US Pay Range: $6,168.90-$10,898.39/month
