Job SummaryOversees the development and continuation of programs to support the Baptist mission. Works closely with physicians, patients, families and hospitals on issues to improve patient care. Serves as educator, liaison and coordinator for the program. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum
Required:
3 years clinical nursing experience in acute care.
Preferred/Desired: 3 years clinical nursing experience in acute care, preferably including at least one year of critical care.
EducationMinimum
Required:
BSN.
Preferred/Desired:
Master degree.
Preferred/Desired:
Certification in specialty area.
Minimum
Required:
BLS certification within 14 days of hire; RN.
No formal supervision responsibilities.

- Medium – high energy level. Lift and carry 40–50 lbs. Push/pull ±150–200 lbs. (Patient on bed, stretcher). Lateral transfer 150–200 lbs. (e.g., patient).
- Heavy – very high energy level. Lift over 50 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. a distance of 30 feet. Push/pull >200 lbs. (Patient on bed, stretcher). Lateral transfer or max assist sit to stand transfer.
