Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager

Location: Remote with up to 50% travel

Department: Clinical Operations

Reports To: Clinical Operations Leadership

We’re seeking a dynamic APP Manager to lead a high-performing team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants across multiple markets. What You’ll Do

• Lead and coach a team of Advanced Practice Providers across multiple service areas
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support professional development
• Oversee remote APP performance with a focus on quality metrics, clinical documentation, and patient outcomes
• Support onboarding, training, and integration into clinical systems and workflows
• Serve as a point of escalation for operational or clinical concerns
• Collaborate with Medical Directors, Quality, and Operations leaders to drive care model success
• Contribute to workforce planning, scheduling, hiring, and retention strategies
• Improve provider satisfaction and reduce burnout
• Represent APP priorities in cross-functional meetings and initiatives

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Active and unencumbered NP or PA license in at least one U.S. state
• 5+ years of clinical APP experience; 2+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or mentorship role
• Experience managing remote and multi-state clinical teams
• Background in value-based care or similar delivery models strongly preferred
• Familiarity with clinical quality programs (e.g., HEDIS, ACOs, Stars)
• Strong communication, performance coaching, and team development skills
• Comfort with technology (EHRs, CRMs, telehealth platforms); basic data tracking and analysis

Travel & Physical Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 50% for site visits and team meetings
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., laptop, suitcase)
• Ability to be on your feet or sit for extended periods depending on the task
