DONOR Greeter- Carriage

Job Responsibilities

Greets donors: Donors are greeted within 10 seconds of arrival in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.

Assists with unloading: Donors are assisted with the unloading of donations from vehicles, trailers, etc.

Provides tax receipts: Offers and provides tax receipts to donors.

Maintains counts: Maintains accurate daily counts of donations.

Processes donations: Processes donations according to GGC Processing Procedures.

Uses safety procedures: Uses proper safety procedures when lifting heavy items, handling sharp items, chemicals and wrapping fragile items.

Keeps area clean: Maintains a neat, clean, and organized donation drive-through and work area.

Reviews safety publications: Reviews and utilizes current Consumer Product Safety Commission Recall publications to prevent unsafe items from being sold in the store.

Assists customers: Assists customers with loading furniture and other large items.

Manages inventory: Removes large, purchased items from sales floor, properly tags, and stores items in the appropriate will-call section for customer pick-up.

Supports truck driver: Assists truck driver with loading and unloading truck.

Maintains cleanliness: Assists with cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.

Adheres to safety rules: Always adheres to Memphis Goodwill safety rules.

Attends training: Attends in-service and related training as assigned by TLC.

Other duties: Other duties as assigned by the TLC and/or ATL.
