Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Five (5) years’ experience as a licensed electrician, of which 24 months of maintenance experience on equipment/systems in a commercial/industrial electrical maintenance
- Active Local Municipality Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- Valid driver's license required
- Demonstrated expertise in mission-critical electrical systems (UPS, generators, switch gear, ATS)
- Strong understanding of electrical safety programs, including NFPA
- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- High level of professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail in operationally sensitive environments
- Hours may vary due to operational need
- Wiliness to participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours
- Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy facilities related to components, parts and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
- Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required
- Non‑covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
