Apex Systems has an opportunity for a Senior AEM Developer to work for one of our clients here in Memphis, TN.

Overview Of Position:
As a Senior AEM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop digital marketing solutions that meet business requirements and improve customer experiences.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with creating page templates/functional components which may include:
• Working with UI team to integrate static HTML with HTL
• Implementing Sling Models to cover business logic
• Creating Touch UI Dialog
• Component Dialog may have the scenario of loading data sources
• Using Responsive Layout/Layout Container
• Implementing i18n for key/value translation
• Implementing Sling Filters
• Adding/Updating Sling Rewrite rules
• Implementing OSGI Services/Configuration
• Replication Event Listeners
• Changes in Dispatcher
• Assist with enhancements or new requirements to integrate Dynamic Media.
• Assist with enhancements or new requirements to integrate Adobe Analytics.
• Assist with Adobe Consulting Services Commons on-deploy-scripts
• Assist with preparing work for the team
• Review Jira user stories and bugs, zeplin and Figma designs
• Work with product owners, web designers, and delivery managers to refine requirements.
• Create work breakdown structure in Jira
• Establish recommend solutions and approaches to the tasks. Create confluence and draw.io documentation as necessary.
• Support junior developers by answering task related, AEM, Java, and ide questions in email, chat, and video calls, and screen sharing.
• Review bitbucket and Git Hub pull requests for code quality and best practices.

Must Have Experience :

• Strong experience in developing solutions on the AEM platform.
• Expertise in developing custom AEM components and templates using HTML/CSS and Vue and other related technologies.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Vue, React and React Native
• Knowledge of AEM workflows, DAM and OSGi bundles.
• Experience with RESTful web services and integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing software solutions on the AEM platform.
• AEM certification is a plus.
