About the Position
Join a Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, TX

Required Skills:

Valid medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one promptly

Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related fields

Strong knowledge of general medicine and experience with compensation and pension assessments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to perform interview-based evaluations and physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience working with Veterans or government contracts

Certification in DMA or similar programs

Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission protocols

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, ideally including experience in government or military healthcare settings

Proven track record in conducting compensation and pension exams or similar assessments

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work on a PRN basis, including ½ or full-day shifts

Ability to travel locally; travel is included in rates

Quick credentialing and onboarding process

Availability to start by March 6, 2026

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $624.00, with additional flat rates for half-day and full-day shifts, as well as a one-time bonus upon completing initial training and exams.
