Seafood Clerk - Collinsville

Job Overview

Available until 9pm and weekends. This role offers 20-25 hours per week.

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, seafood cases, and backroom
• Prepare product for cases
• At closing, pull product from cases for proper storage
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Perform suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook, fry, and steam product for customers
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management

Training will be provided at store level.

• Bending and stooping
• Work in a cold, damp environment
• Lift up to 60 pounds
• Stand on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Internal Candidates:

• Minimum six months employment with Schnucks preferred

Store Support Center Teammates:

• Minimum one year employment with Schnucks preferred

Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Pay Range: $15.25 - $17.45 per hour. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and teammate discounts.
